Petal Pushers Flower & Gift Shop

Since 1989, Petal Pushers Flower & Gift Shop has served Keswick and communities across the Town of Georgina with professionally designed flowers, plants and gifts. Founded by Corinne Holmes-Ennis, the shop combines floral-design training through Flowers Canada and the University of Guelph with hands-on experience serving local customers.

Petal Pushers has grown from a one-person start into a trained floral team. Corinne works with another floral designer and a sales associate, and she has developed the shop's current designer through hands-on training. The shop also welcomes co-op students from floral-design programs, helping build practical experience in the next generation of floral professionals.

The team is known for full, lush, garden-style arrangements and the ability to handle unusual requests. Petal Pushers does not rely on one fixed palette or signature flower; designers select the right combination for the occasion, including familiar flowers such as carnations in unexpected settings. Every order is reviewed before it leaves the shop.

Quality continues after delivery. The team explains how clean water, preservative and recut stems help arrangements last, and how avoiding overwatering protects plants. If a substitution would materially change an arrangement's color or overall look, Petal Pushers contacts the customer before proceeding.

Petal Pushers designs flowers for everyday gifting, weddings, funerals and smaller events. As celebrations have become more focused and lead times have changed, the shop has adapted its formats and workflow while keeping the design personal to the message being sent.

The shop's work has included funeral flowers for the Danielle Steel film Kaleidoscope, which featured Jaclyn Smith, and flowers for Jim Carrey's father. Corinne also contributes floral expertise and community leadership through Rogers TV's Georgina Life and Georgina Blooms, talks, workshops, the Board of Trade, the BIA and the Garden Club.

Every Petal Pushers order begins with listening. The team identifies what the customer wants the flowers to communicate, then builds an arrangement that delivers that feeling with care, creativity and dependable local service.
